Well, there are a lot of things you need, but none of them depend upon someone else but yourself, so this is the good news. Dedication, intelligence, lots of effort and lots of research are just a few things that pop into my mind right now. But these are only the psychological factors.

You will also need a website to promote your products or, if you choose so, other peoples’ products. Or you can do both of them. Even though money online can be made without a website, the serious internet marketer will definitely build at least one. Nowadays, the site-building procedures have greatly simplified. There are even pre-designed sites that suit your purposes in internet marketing. Of course, they will cost you money.

And that is another thing you will need for starting your internet business. Don’t think you can make a profitable online business without spending a few bucks first, even if only for getting a domain name and a hosting service. Still, there’s a big advantage in the fact that starting an online business will cost you far less than starting a normal business.


WHAT DO I DO?
Well, this is entirely your decision. Think of something you like, one of your hobbies. The fact is that online marketing is far more successful when done with passion. As I mentioned earlier, start by building your website. Then, decide if you have something to market yourself. If you don’t, try affiliate marketing, which is promoting other merchants’ products. Put links of your affiliate partners on your well-designed web page, and if your visitors click them and buy something from your partners, you get a commission. You can try both methods if you want a greater amount of money.

These are just a few pointers of how online money can be made, and the truth is you will have to do a lot of research on how to make your site appealing, how to get quality traffic to your website and many other things. Also, try to keep in mind that the rewards will come in time, don’t expect to get hundreds of thousands of dollars in 3 months. Unless you have an aunt you didn’t know anything about and she leaves you with a huge heritage or you win the lottery, this can’t be accomplished. Every big internet marketer has worked hard to get where he/she is and that’s what you will have to do also. Usually, the rewards are proportional to your efforts.
