For every fanatical NASCAR fan, there are NASCAR toys for boys and girls of every age. From infant rattles and teething rings with the name and logo of the parents' favorite driver to the collectible die cast vehicles and remote control race cars for the older kids (read, the parents) NASCAR toys are a way of showing the world who they root for on any given race day.

As the kids get bigger so do the toys and many children may have to fight with moms and dads to be able to play with the 1:6 remote control vehicle they received as a present. Even though many kids are too young to understand what NASCAR means, their favorite toy is a plush ball adorned with the colors and number of dad's favorite driver.

Not all NASCAR toys are soft and stationary. Some of the remote control vehicles can reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour.

Electric slot car racing has been popular for decades and with NASCAR toys licensed by the sanctioning body, replica NASCAR vehicles are found zipping around slot car tracks across the country. At the higher scale, you can get complete car and grandstand NASCAR racing sets, to build your very own mini NASCAR race track.

NASCAR toys form a common bond between parents and children. Visually supporting the same driver is one way that a family can spend time on common activities. However, in many cases as the children grow up, they may form a different opinion about a driver or racing team and it drives a wedge between them. That does not minimize the fact that NASCAR toys can be a family bonding medium, at least when the children are still young and follow the parent's lead.

It is interesting what effect the NASCAR log can have on the devotion of a child to a toy. NASCAR toys are not only limited to a particular game. Even the gadgets that go with the game also carry the same logo. A video racing game is not the same if it's not played with a NASCAR logo steering wheel.

The affiliation of drivers with team and colors remain fairly constant, which means toys branded with a driver's credentials remain relevant much longer than in many other sports. It is safe to say that there are NASCAR toys for every age. The only difference is price.
